CLARKSON FORMULA SAE
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Formula SAE is a collegiate design competition sanctioned by the Society of Automotive Engineers, SAE International. The goal of the competition is for students to design, build, and test a prototype open-wheel racecar in order to learn the fundamentals of engineering, design, and manufacturing.
THE TEAM
The Clarkson Formula SAE Team consists of 10-15 members of various majors and technical backgrounds. Members of the Clarkson Formula Knights work on subteams (specialized divisions of the team) in order to allow for students to gain more in-depth knowledge on certain vehicle systems. These subteams include:
